The structure is designed to support embodiment first, understanding second, and integration through practice.

At a glance

Total hours: 50
Format:

  • In-person training

  • Live online sessions

  • Self-paced study and practice

In-person weekends (28.5 hours)

We meet for three full Saturdays at Bija Yoga:

  • Saturday 4 April 2026

  • Saturday 18 April 2026

  • Saturday 2 May 2026

Time: 9:30am–5:00pm

Each day follows a rhythm that supports deep, embodied learning:

  • A 90-minute Yin practice to begin the day

  • Theoretical learning grounded in what you’ve just experienced

  • Pose labs and applied exploration

  • Practice-teaching with feedback

  • Reflection and integration

This ensures the work is felt in the body before it’s analysed in the mind.

Live online learning (6 hours)

You’ll also take part in three live Zoom sessions (2 hours each), which are recorded for later viewing.

These sessions are used for:

  • Deeper theory and philosophy

  • Functional anatomy and meridian work

  • Sequencing and case examples

  • Extended Q&A and integration

Self-paced study and practice (15.5 hours)

Between and alongside the live sessions, you’ll complete:

  • Guided readings and recorded content

  • Reflection and journaling

  • Personal Yin practice

  • Short practice-teaching and sequencing assignments

This allows the learning to land, unfold, and integrate at your own pace.

By the end of the training, you’ll have completed 50 hours of Yin Yoga teacher training that is grounded, embodied, and directly applicable to real-world teaching.
