Her teaching is shaped by many years of working with women through life transitions, injury, stress, and change — and by ongoing study in somatic meditation, Yin Yoga, and therapeutic movement.

Deb’s approach to Yin Yoga is grounded in the understanding that stillness is not just a shape, but a state of listening. She teaches Yin as a practice of sensing, orienting, and gently meeting what is present in the body, rather than pushing toward performance or aesthetic form.

Alongside her yoga training, Deb is completing a Graduate Certificate in Physiotherapy Assistance, further supporting her functional and therapeutic approach to working with diverse bodies.

Students often describe her classes and trainings as:

  • safe and deeply supportive

  • quietly transformative

  • spacious, grounded, and nourishing.

This teacher training is an expression of Deb’s belief that Yin Yoga, when taught with care and awareness, can be a powerful medicine for both students and teachers.
